The latest generation of Centurion is our premier wireless winch control, designed for professional users. Manufactured in the UK, it’s built to handle any challenge you might throw at it. The Centurion wireless winch control uses constant communication between transmitter and receiver, ensuring signals are both accurate and delivered quickly. Because the coded signal is continuously sent back and forth, external signals that could cause interference are blocked. If the receiver is subjected to a large number of false signals, it shuts down and restarts automatically. If the system is not used for 30 minutes, it powers off automatically. Centurion runs on 2 x AAA batteries and consumes only 20mA during operation, providing around 200 hours of use before the batteries need replacing. The Centurion system features its own coding, making it easy to replace system components. With over 16 million codes in total, false signals are prevented from getting through, and if a unit is lost or damaged, a new one can be paired with the existing application in just a minute. Both the Centurion transmitter and receiver are rated IP67, meaning they are completely waterproof and can be fully submerged. If needed, the handheld controller also floats, making Centurion the perfect choice for winching in marine environments. Centurion units are molded from the highest quality PVC. The handheld transmitter features a rubber membrane and carbon fiber buttons, giving a solid feel in the hand and a secure grip. In most environments, the range is up to 45 meters—and even more with a clear line of sight—without signal loss. The robust design can withstand heavy use and operates in temperatures from -30°C to +65°C.
