If the rope breaks, it does not create the same dangerous recoil, and there are no sharp steel strands that can cause injury. Armortek Extreme floats on water, making it particularly suitable for marine use. The rope also retains its strength even when wound in overlapping layers on the winch drum. It is pre-stretched, heat-treated and finished with a durable protective coating for long service life even under demanding conditions.
