Omicron 96 is optimized for both good flowability and maximum protective capability – especially under extreme loads. Optimized for impacts and vibrations At high impacts and vibrations, kinetic energy is converted into heat at the contact points. This can cause traditional lubricants to thin out and lose their protective capability. Omicron 96 is therefore designed with a relatively thin base oil and soft grease structure to quickly reach and protect exposed surfaces – particularly important in central lubrication systems. Protection where it is needed most The grease contains a high proportion of solid lubricating substances that are adapted to withstand extreme impacts. It spreads effectively over impact surfaces and reduces point loading by "filling in" irregularities – which protects surfaces against direct metal contact and deformation. Extreme temperature and wear resistance With a temperature resistance up to 1100°C and a high dropping point, Omicron 96 is developed for the most demanding working conditions. The high temperature resistance ensures that the grease stays in place even during intensive operation. Long-lasting protection The product has high corrosion protection, very good water resistance, and strong oxidation resistance. This provides long life, low consumption, and protection that lasts over time.
